To assist us in achieving our aims, Íontas is dependant on the generosity of not only the local community but also the corporate sector.  Every donation made to Iontas plays an important role in ensuring Íontas fulfils its aim.

Alternatively a cheque can be sent, made payable to Íontas and forwarded to Íontas, Conabury, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.  Please ensure that you include your contact details to allow us to forward a receipt.

Individual Donations

Iontas is able to reclaim tax on accumulated donations over the tax year, greater than €250 with no upper limit. Tax refunds will be calculated at 42%, 20% or a combination of both depending on which rate is applicable.

Corporate Donations

Under the 2001 Finance Act, a Corporate tax relief scheme is in place for companies that make donations to eligible charities. A company donation greater than €250, with no upper limit, to Iontas can qualify for tax relief at the current rate of corporation tax. The company will claim a deduction for the donation as if it were a trading expense.
